The Gators will begin the season ranked #9 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division I Preseason Top 25 Poll. This is the 20th consecutive year the Gators have been ranked in the top 15 of the preseason poll. The Gators won the SEC title last year and the SEC coaches have voted them preseason favorites to win it again in 2011. The Gators have won a SEC record 19 titles.
